Born in Izmir, a beautiful seaside city in Turkey, Beste studied at Dokuz Eyul University where she achieved a BA in Fashion Design. After moving to the UK to live, she continued to progress her knowledge by studying Creative Textile Design in Central St Martin’s and Customised Pattern Cutting at London College of Fashion with Dennic Chunman Lo, one of the best in his field in the fashion industry.

Beste Bragg’s brand is all about feeling feminine: the wearer has to enjoy what they are wearing and feel totally unique and special. “When I work on a design I imagine how the wearer will feel. Each design contains a part of me, and equally I wish for the person wearing the design to feel that it is part of them too, by selecting that particular design, whether commissioned or from a collection. My aim is for the wearer to be aware of how they feel when they put it on – for them to feel like they have never felt before.”
Beste Bragg lives in a rural village in Northamptonshire, and draws her inspiration from her beautiful countryside location. Her appearance at the Oxford Fashion Week in 2015 has allowed her to showcase her designs in a city that is close to her heart. In March 2016 she took her tweed collection to Paris and showcased at Paris Fashion Week.

“I come from a haute couture background where attention to detail and individuality is key. Even when working on a larger scale, it is of the upmost importance to me that this individuality is not compromised, which is why every garment made from one of my designs is hand finished. My aim is to make the wearer feel like they have never felt before, and reflect the very essence of their personality. The garment should be an extension of that person!” Beste BR
